Nah. I'll just make it up for other sites/services as I go along. Also the thread sort of just fell into petty bashing based on very old interpersonal histories at the end, so I sort of gave up on the idea.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

Another copy paste from the HQ page!

The Sea Venom's successor in Royal Navy service was the impressive de Havilland Sea Vixen which, when it first appeared in the early 1950's, was a match for any land-based fighter of the time. It gave the Royal Navy its first swept-wing two-seat all-weather fighter and was developed from the 1946-vintage D.F. 110 that was designed to meet the Royal Air Force specification for a land-based all-weather fighter aircraft. Naval interest waned and the RAF requirement was ultimately filled by the Gloster Javelin.

Although it followed the Vampire/Venom-type twin-boom configuration, the Sea Vixen was a totally modern aircraft, but development delays following the high profile and tragic 1952 crash of the prototype at a Farnborough air show kept the Sea Vixen from entering Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm service until 1958.

Royal Navy interest in the D.H. 100 was rekindled in 1952 and carrier trials took place in late 1954 - the Royal Navy placed its first Sea Vixen order in January the following year. A partially navalized version first flew in June, 1955 while production of the Sea Vixen FAW. Mk 1 got underway at de Havilland's Christchurch factory - the company's Chester factory was later involved in Sea Vixen's production.

Image
The retirement of the Sea Vixen from the Fleet Air Arm was the end of an era for de Havilland twin boom types in front-line British military service.

Image
The Sea Vixen was the first British aircraft to be armed exclusively with rockets and air-to-air missiles.

I keep discovering the multitude of amazing ground objects made by Airbourne and HotelFox (of course it goes without saying that I like Patrick's ground objects too 'cause those are the most I've used). Here is Linbury's new City Hospital with a combination of Airbourne's and HF's hospital ground objects.

I will be using more of HF's ground objects in the CMI map so if you get it after release be sure to download HF's ground object pack also.

PAVA PHOTODUMP INCOMING :ugeek:

Done some flights on the UK map, some purely to get some pictures, others to be filed as flights.

737-800 PAV250 Newcastle - Edinburgh, shortly after takeoff the aircraft experienced a slight technical issue, requiring the crew to return to Newcastle, where the aircraft was replaced with a 757

What a passenger would see on short final to RWY 25 at Ocaso International Airport.

Btw, OCA is not a KLM hub, just in case you're wondering. I chose the KLM 744 because I like the 747. :P
