Haven't we already discussed this? It counts as a screenshot. It could be placed in current projects or in screenshots as it fits both the topics.

He's right. This place is Ulleung Island that stand-aloned far away at East Sea from mainland of South Korea. We are using this Island as test for Korea Peninsula scenery.

Switched to better texture than before.
Now is that just one big elevation grid with a Single texture? Or is that mutiple textures and grids? What size is that texture?

By the way, where did that satellite texture come from? That looks much higher detail than anything I've seen...

Its private.The actual model comes from DD Destroyer and I never asked his permission to release the repaint or .dat for it.So as a result I can't release it now.

I'm not sure how it will look when you try to do this to a place as large as South Korea, but I'm interested to see you guys trying. I have stayed away from the new scenery editor like it's the plague so at least there's some people willing to test this texture feature out. Maybe when the terrain is not so steep (in flat farmland areas), the texture will look better because it won't be stretched.
SK shouldn't be too hard. That and it'd possibly be, if done right, exempt from the floating point bug.
I'm loving all these textured map pics. Makes me want to bribe DD-Destroyer for a copy of it :mrgreen:

I just updated the California map with a few new ground objects, which means I also just updated my ground objects pack. I got some screenshots of the changes.
SAN VA hangars.png
I added hangars for NCA and MOA at San Diego International.
san diego docks.png
New cranes to load and unload ships at the docks in San Diego.
