Is it even possible to get a plane to glow in the dark on YSF?

Yes you can. You can set certain vertices to be "bright". This makes them visible, no matter what the light level is.

For the new CHF 777s, a few screen shots are in order. No night pics but you have to take a look. The engines have a slight red glow that adds a super realistic effect.

It was well worth the wait for these beauties.

An Interior shot...

it's not 0,0,0, but damnit it's trying. i'd say that's 16,16,16 and nothing over 32,32,32.

You know you can just create a start position with the highest Y-value you can think of? The problem is that you have to disable fog in Config to see anything.

Anything over 112118ft is parabolic. (The atmosphere ends, you can't fly. It's technically space.) So all you have to do is point at the right angle and punch it as fast as you can...

True, but i consider that cheating. I basically turned nose up from 10,000 ft at 1300kts on full AB and went for it. :D

I used to do that with the stock fighter planes and experimented with fuel loads. For the most part, those guys can do 0-60,000ft on 15% fuel with full AB. Going down is one of the funnest parts. :D

Ah, the VTOL raptoring. It can be done in convertiplanes, and to do it you have to roll to a side and set the rudder to the opposite direction, and then VTOL.
I did that several times, and the result is... interesting.

How did you get it to display more than 150 miles? is it just the new test version?
