Thank you for this u2fly. I can't speak for the press team, but I personally believe we should try to get a in depth review of YSFlight in its current state. We should also bring light to our community.

All these people are downloading YSFlight, but where are they? Fishie and I were talking and he mentioned he had no idea the english community existed until he looked for servers. In my personal experience, I found YSPilots back in 2006 because I was looking for addons for the game I had just found on suclaro.com (fs9 mods)

There's still a decent player base out there, and there should be even easier ways to find HQ. We need to let them know we live.

Whenever i show someone YS they usually say something along the lines of

'Oh, wow, looks fun. I'll grab my pentium 4 and Voodoo 3 (90's PC Components) and join you'

Nice to see someone organized this material. should give us some feedback on what needs to improve.

I'm writing a bunch of papers right now, and this one is sooo bad.
The comparison table on page 7 is amusing. It's inconsistent, poorly calibrated so as to be misleading, or outright wrong on a bunch of them. My favourite being of X-Plane 10, "Few control settings available."
Uhh.

I mean, it's neat that YS was mentioned in a scholarly article, but come on guys. Eight authors.
And it cites Wikipedia. Twice.

Nice to see you alive Waspe :)

For marketing purposes, we need some sort of press package, not sure if one has been made yet. We need better quality reviews.

Wikipedia!? Bruh it's not peer reviewed, it's rubbish.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!
