Did you read "install.html"? Look like no.
You must move folder ysfs inside .blender/scripts/. So all scripts from there release must be as ./blender/scripts/ysfs/******.py.
Did that. I just overwrote the old scripts that were in there. Since it didnt work i just replaced with the old ones again. But ill try again

EDIT
Its all good mayne. Mustve done something wrong

Now if only I could download more ram.

Hi. I'm new to making aircraft for YSFlight. Could I ask how you use the hardpoints export script in the pack for blender 2.49?

Edit: I figured it out.

For the curious:
- Create an 'empty' Image
- Name it any of these: LEFTGEAR, RIGHTGEAR, WHEELGEAR, ARRESTER, MACHNGUN, SMOKEGEN, VAPORPO0, VAPORPO1, HPT
- And run the hardpoint export script.

Something's broken in the HPT export bit though. Image

I think hardpoints are called HRDPOINT, not HPT, so the script does not recognise the variable you are trying to input.

The script doesn't recognize 'empty' objects in Blender named HRDPOINT. It takes empties named 'HPT' and outputs their coordinate values as YSFlight HRDPOINT coordinates.

I tried it with empty objects named HRDPOINT. It outputted zilch, which it also does with objects with names that fall outside the naming parameters I stated a while ago.

If I could fix it soon I will make next update for YSFS ver.1.x branch.

Upcoming update for "YSFS ver.1.x" branch will include little improved "DNM Viewer" script. Especially for vertical panels mode, so it will look more compact.

Can we use python 3.x for these scripts? Or must we download the 2.x version?

Blender 2.49 requires Python 2.6 for its scripts.
