Re: Decaff's YSFlight Scenery Editor Tutorial
Dear DeCaff_42;
First I salute you for the tutorial. It is amazingly comprehensive and one can only imagine the patience and time you put into creating it. I shall keep it safe and refer to it if I am ever brave enough to try and actual create a scenario, from scratch, on my own. For now, I have only a couple of simple question:
1) Can the original maps (those which come standard with the original YS Flight Simulator Program be modified?
2) If so, can you please guide me (step-by-step...I am not very clever!) in converting an "unpaved" scenario into a "paved" scenario, so that I can fly a few Float-Planes.
Thank you!
John (The Newbie)

Re: Decaff's YSFlight Scenery Editor Tutorial
The way to do that is to simply make a runway rectangular region somewhere on your map, and if you want, make some runway lights or a point array around it to mark it off.
Both of those tools should be in there. I believe there is a map with a floatplane runway. I know I've flown it, but I'm not sure what its name was.

Re: Decaff's YSFlight Scenery Editor Tutorial
So, how do I take a map like North Kyusu and make it all "paved''?
