Space Shuttle Fleet

Post by Phoenix » Thu Feb 24, 2011 12:34 pm

The shuttle is retiring, and I thought it would be great if we had a shuttle pack for YSF with all of the Shuttles (including the late Challenger and Columbia, as well as Enterprise (atmospheric tests)).

That is quite a good request.

I'll think on it.

It's just that it is such a great spacecraft.

Addition to request, like the GLS rocket addon, can there be something that makes the SRB's then the ET separate from the main Orbiter. Also can we have it actually reeach the actual height and speed.

I have gone over 200,000 feet with TB3. So the altitude should'nt be a problem.
Fliped out of the arena, again! :(

I fourth this idea! It'd be cooler then ice. (no pun intended iceman) to see some shuttles. Maybe a few probe rockets too?

There is a simulator called orbiter and it has the atlantis in it.
You could use the shuttle model as reference or convert it

The first part is easily done with the dynamodel. If the model that is produced doesn't do that, I can teach you how very easily.

The second one would require fundamental changes to YSFLIGHT's engine.

How about expanding this to include NASA's carrier plane?
