Requesting: Northrop P-61 Black Widow

Post by MD5Ray01 » Tue Apr 09, 2013 2:01 am

I'm making this request because I've searched here, the YSFinder site, and even Google and couldn't come up with a YSFlight version of this impressive night fighter

I second this request. But unfortunately the pool of scratch model makers is quickly dwindling and the active guys have there hands full with VA requests. But still keep your fingers crossed.

I had thought a year ago about requesting this one myself;
but I had other stuff come up. In some respects I think it is
a larger version of the Bronco, so I contented myself by using them.

What work does it need doing to it?
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

Basically it needs light mesh refinement, and full animation and DAT work.

Preeeeecisely! I do meshes, and that's it. Some paint input, and other ideas, but for the most part, after I'm done with my mess...err, mesh, its up to the YS modeller.

Ya'll know the HQ Extra 300 model we all use? Guess who made the mesh for that one. ;)

I have AC3D installed on my computer but can't figure out how to model with it. I guess I'll just stick to blender ( though I live how AC3D gives you four views without having to cycle trhough )

You can get blender to do the same thing with a little customization.

What else? The attempt to scratch together a mesh for the aforementioned P-61 Black Widow of course.

Meh, don't get your hopes up. My meshes aren't so great, and I still need someone to adopt it for YS.

Hi Skyline, if you don't mind I could give it a whirl...
Love twin props, and this one has a gun turret to boot!

I'll send you my updated email address via pm.

It does look like it needs quite a bit of simplifying and poly reduction.
I could send you the result after I'm done with it for approval.
Oh, and is a cockpit/interior included?

Best regards
