Request: Star Fox Arwing

would it be possible for someone to try and make the Arwing from any of the Star Fox games? this would be a niffty aircraft to use as an attacker or intercepter.

I was working on the Argonaut and N64 versions a while ago and fiddling with the Namco version for some time. I'll see if I can finish it. No promises though.

There already is an Arwing in existence, but it was in the TAP pack (from NanjaraJAPAN) and their website is offline. Maybe someone has that installed? I lost it years ago.

Ultra Version (SF64) Edited version of Najara's

Bonus!: Wolfen II Did this one by scarce images because apparently there's little to no references to it.

As always, not up to "standard".

@ACColonel, isn't that the ripped model from Smash Bros Brawl? I have that one too.

EDIT: is it to late to talk about armament?
i was thinking of a setup like this:

Cannon x2, 2000 to 3000 RNDS

Missiles: 2x AAM short range + 2x AAM mid range with the ability to hold 4 AGMs that would replace the AAM's.
or, let it hold some ridiculously large amount of AAMs and AGMs

IMHO, I think it would be better with traditional weapons. With weapon skins you can make anything possible. For example:

Smart Bomb skin; for both rockets and AGM65
Gun skin; Hyper laser
The Arwing also featured a charge shot which tracked, so that can take the place of Aim9X, with a standard green laser (single fire) skin firing from the nose

Just a suggestion, but it would be 100% canon

to be honest, i've only played the SNES version of Star Fox, so i've only used cannons and smart bombs.

as for the weapons and their skins, it would be great to have skins for the weapons. but, is YSFlight capable of the tracking laser that you described? you would be writing a completely new weapon for YSFlight.

i think that the skins for the rockets and AGM65 should be the smart bombs from either Star Fox 64 or one of the GameCube games and the AIM9x could be the smartbomb from the SNES version if multiple skin frames are possible.

It's only a visual change. All the weapons will still behave like stock, be it a rocket, an AGM65, or an AIM9X. They'll just look like Starfox weapons.
