[REQUEST] Edge 540

Looks like we don't have an Edge 540 on the forums, which is a shame for it being such a great aerobatic plane. Especially with some of the modifications they use in the Red Bull Air Races. Would anyone be willing to take a try at this one?

Note: Sorry if this is a frequent request or has been done before.

You know, we've been looking for a decent Edge 540 in this sim for a while now. If anyone wants to make a blank mesh, that'd be a great start. Perhaps we can pool together resources on this one?

I'm up for it.

Anyone else interested?

I can animate, so long as the model is made into seperate parts and not one blob mesh SRF.

There is 3D model for FlightGear (with geometry models in AC3D format) on Github:

The only one limitation is, that if you will use it as base, your resulted model should be licensed under same license as original one - under terms of GNU GPLv2 license (but its OK for such add-on)

P.S.: Blender 2.49b and older has inbuilt AC3D import support. For Blender 2.7x here is add-on:
