Officers Vertex, Kubson, and Ping are proud to bring a new option to the YSFlight community for combat pilots. Stationed out of Hawaii's Madobe NAS, the 2nd United Combat Wing (2UCW), guided by our flight instructors' years of experience, offers a fun and worthwhile training experience for players to grow and become better pilots.
New 2UCW recruits are accepted at all skill levels, and enter a comprehensive training system designed to create well-rounded, adept pilots. From basic flight and navigation to multirole combat missions, 2UCW will give you the skills to succeed. Upon finishing primary training, our pilots enter into one of three of our sub-squadrons:

The Mambas, led by Kubson, are 2UCW's air superiority unit, demonstrating skill in all forms of air-to-air combat including dogfighting, interception, and flight escorts. While pilots of the Mambas division fly several different aircraft, their signature jet is the F-20A Tigershark, a gunpod-armed light fighter known throughout the combat community for its exceptionally short time to kill.

The Deathcaps are the multirole division of 2UCW, and the squadron's default designation for all pilots who do not choose to enlist with the Mambas or Badgers. Their primary aircraft is the F/A-18C Hornet, capable of carrying all types of weaponry for various combat missions.

The Badgers, under UltraViolet, are the aerial strike workhorses of 2UCW, specializing in air-to-ground combat such as SEAD/DEAD, air interdiction, ship/fleet hunting, and high-altitude strategic bombing. Their flagship is the Su-24 "Fencer", equipped with two rotatable SPPU-6 cannons for increased combat flexibility.
Our Discord server is public! In addition to containing resources for facilitating each of our pilots through a progressive training/ranking system, our Discord is the leading social hub of the YSFlight combat community, and home to some of its most dedicated pilots. Join 2UCW today and work your way up the ranking system, gather experience and skill, and if you are qualified, join, lead, or possibly even create your own subsquadrons! But most importantly, take the chance to stand in YSFlight under an air force that stands for opportunity and community for all pilots.
