Freki79 wrote:Hi again you all, it's been a long since I got into ysflight! Im glad to see all the new coming features, textures on rectangles and Dem terrain gen. etc etc....Everything is cool, I only wish somebody will code a sound plugin to fade engine noise, because my old one (i think i downloaded from electric world? gac? idk) doesnt work on 2015 test version. That's the only bad point, otherway Ysflight is growing very cool.

And a second question, plz about Grigor's grid generator: why, no matter which bitmap i load in the program, do I get this?? :?:
No way to get that work for me! I need that tool! I tried to set a mall number of grids, with b&w pics, and both of Grigor's version, but i always obtain the same thing. Can you guess why?
(Ps: is there a way to draw roads on elevation grids?)

Because you need GIS image file. Not just any old picture.

Also the sound plugin is only good for the last 2013 version. It won't work with the '14 stable or '15 test versions.

The plugins works for me on 14 stable version, and it was enough to put it into the plugin folder. I just wanted the engine sound not to skip to one level to one other.
And grid generator finally worked.

Helicopters still use the throttle-affected thrust vector mode of flying, which is still not how helicopters work.

Version 20150329 released
The major update (other than bug fixes) are as follows:

- Realistic propeller simulation in some airplanes
- F-22 can perform post-stall maneuvers
- Phong Shading in OpenGL 2.0 version
- Can specify smoke color per generator
- Added “Land, Refuel, and Take Off” radio command
- Added “Spread formation” and “Tighten formation” radio commands
- Fixed: The user can fly after the previously-flown airplane. This function was accidentally disabled in the previous version.
Helicopters still fly like ass. F7, F8, and F9 are sort of halfway between 2013 and the last test version. I'm not sure if F7/F8 zooming out is supported any more now that holding the key cycles between the views.

and it just make F-22 using the minimum maneuver speed on 30 knots and full on 80 knots....he didn't fully implement the thrust vector function like the PSTMPTCH,PSTMYAW,PSTMROLL and PSTMPWR....even though the Pugachev Cobra in lower maneuver speed works but it was too late and not like the test version...

Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike installers?

After multiple attempts, this is just nuts. The download site is garbage. My computer won't install it. It's a disaster.

Seriously, somebody is going to have to install it on their computer, zip it, and send it to me! This is insane.
I didn't want it anyway.

I have updated the links on http://ysflight.org/download/ with the latest version of YS. Do NOT use the download.com version as the installer is fake, it just downloads the zip and opens that up. May also contain spyware/bloatware.

Check it out:

I still get the same error. I'm pretty sure now it is incompatible with any Windows version before Win7.

I'll have a chat with Soji and see what could be causing the error, as well as hopefully get a possible fix for you.
