Hello YSFHQ!

I'm posting to let you know that we have invigorated the Business Class / First Class sponsorship program, which gave those who donate to help keep HQ running a few special benefits.

Before I continue, I want to make it very clear: the program is optional and only adds features. Those who do not participate will not lose any features or forum functionality versus what they have today.

The new program will consist of two tiers which we have very creatively called Business Class and First Class.

Business Class members receive the following benefits:
Access to a private members-only TeamSpeak/Discord channel
Access to a private members-only subforum
A special rank image
Increased PM inbox capacity

First Class members receive all BC benefits, plus:
Ad-free browsing
Able to request a private sub-channel within the Business Class / First Class channel on our TeamSpeak/Discord server to which you receive full permissions.
An extra-special rank image

Business Class membership requires a minimum recurring donation of $2.00/month or a lump sum of $22.50/year.

First Class membership requires a minimum donation of $4.00/month or $40.00/year.


Membership will be confirmed and extra permissions and passwords granted within 72 hours of your donation being cleared by PayPal. If you ever miss a monthly donation, we'll just set you back to your original permissions. You can rejoin at any time, but we are unable to refund partial months due to the fees imposed by PayPal.


Again, this program is intended to help fund the site. Nobody makes a dime off of this program. If donating on a regular basis isn't something you can do, you can help us out by turning off your adblockers... Every little bit counts.

Please note that YSFHQ staff may amend the terms and classification of paid membership at anytime and for any reason.

Note: The donate button will ask for your shipping address, even if you are Business Class, just in case you ever upgrade. PayPal controls this information and we will only be able to use it for shipping you your goods.

And no, we can't accept it directly but if you have the Google wallet debit card you can run that through PayPal.

Out of curiosity, does contributions made under the original first class member carry on or are they wiped clean? That being said I reckon my original donation would have surely run out by now.

Yeah, most of what's sitting in the account right now is not from the old first class program, it's from a handful of very large (and incredibly generous) donations from a couple of users.

Can I request a simple get request PHP script that spits out a text list of all usernames with FirstClass membership and BusinessClass membership?

It's that or you set up a public google doc and I can use the google API to extract the data I need.

If so I might add some cool members only commands to OYS - eg: variable smoke colors - nothing balance changing though.

Just letting you guys know that the Admin team has been hard working on invigorating the Business Class and First Class memberships.

Pricing is now cheaper and the various perks that both tier offers has changed. These are now effective immediately for all current and new memberships. Current members should expect a PM shortly with password to the channel on TS3 server.

All current BC/FC members should have access to the private channels on Discord. If you haven't received the appropriate permissions, please contact one of the admin team to fix the issue.
