[PACK] DTP's L-39 Pack

Post by Kujo » Wed Apr 06, 2016 3:25 am

Thank you for downloading the L-39 pack created by DTP! This pack includes both tip tank, no tank, and equippable Albatross jets. The racing versions are included for the upcoming VNAF AirFest event in summer of 2016. Credits to the Wic Works pack for the original L-39 base model, and VNAF ONE for making such a great .dat file for the aircraft.

I also accept any positive or negative feedback on this addon so that I can improve it for future updates, whether it be dat fixes or additional paints you would like to see on the Albatross.

Most packs that I do will return to the works for fixes and glitches, but it's not my base model L-39. You can mod off of the original Albatross if you can find it since this is just a pack of different paints for the aircraft.

Thanks for the reference shots! I once had the thought of making the Ukranian Falcons L-39, but there was no image of the underside. I'll be sure to throw in some Ukrainian paint jobs, as well as other civilian & military paints next ;)

@kujo, please check current pack, there are mistakes in white and blank models (they not clear)!

Can you post a screenshot to show where the issue is?

Kujo I think this might be another grey poly issue? (At work, haven't looked)

In this PACK v1.5 two mistakes
1) "L39_BLANK" really is same as "L39_RUSS_DEMOTEAM[OLD]"(so its two same paints, and there no blank, but its needed)
2) "L39_WHITE" really is some white&red paint with VNAF and YSFHQ logos (think it must be renamed and original white from previouse pack must be added again)
But in previouse pack blank was clear blank, white was clear white!

I have developed a list of possible outcomes in the next update v1.5.1

Hope you're satisfied for now, it should be released somewhere inside the next 2 months ;)

Now its v1.5, next as you sad would be v1.5.2...
Where is v1.5.1?
And why next wouldn't named as v1 .6?

Also, did you check white and blank in v.1.5?
And one remark: please, not use spaces in folder and file names. Use symbol "_" instead of "<space>".
Thanks.

I don't remember packing anything with spaces in it. Strictly _ or -.

It won't be 1.6 since it is sort of a continuation of a previous list I had. I decided to cut it in half and name one "1.5" and the other half "1.5.1"

I have checked the white and blank models, and it seems as if those are dnm problems. I will be sure to fix those so everyone can have a good blank or white model to mod off ;)

Very much appreciated with the feedback!

Okay, I don't mean to sound strict on this but for now it would be better to just paste image URLs instead of showing them. It seems as if this topic is being overwhelmed with Albatross images, not that there's anything wrong with that, but there are just too many down the thread.

That pixel camouflage Albatross is really pretty but I don't think I would be able to pull that off without having more than a ton of face issues. It is really hard to repaint any aircraft into a pixel camouflage scheme (even though the japanese YS modders say otherwise, but that's because they're powerful wizards.)

I would also like to point out that the Ukranian Standard Camouflage, payload (PL) version of that, and the Ukranian Falcons L-39 will be put into the next update. Afterwards, I would like to move onto different countries and liveries. Just wanted to announce this :)

I agree with this. One post generally doesn't need to contain 1,000,000 images, Image use is fine, but please don't over do it.
