Post by Welshy » Fri Jun 03, 2011 6:47 pm

[mod=YSCG Pack - PC-45][previmg]http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd4 ... /pc-45.jpg[/previmg]
[moddesc=http://www.fava.cz.cc/downloads/yscg.zip]This is the Birdfarm PC-45 and it is my first a/c...

It is a basic colour scheme and also an inverse of Coastguard White with Red (Red with White)

The Pack (YSCG) Will be updated as much as possible by me and will also hopefully include aircraft created by others which follow a coastguard theme......

Good job welshy.But I do have one question.Who's coast guard is it patterned after?You may want to take a look at TF58s guardian model for a scheme template.

You know, i thought everyne had overlooked this plane . Nice to see someone did something with her after i put her together.

Is this the coast guard patrol variant, or the Military variant?

Lemme see if i can find you the RGB codes for Cosatguard colors.

in the side bar at the right are the color specifications and insignia

Here's some constructive crits for you:
  • It's a good idea to paint the engine intake and exhaust black, because right now there are no visible jet engines on the plane.
  • Always double check your model before releasing it, as there are a few minor pink polygons on the top where the white is. Small but effectively annoying.
  • Fix normals before painting! I like to paint the whole plane RGB 222,222,222 and look it over in DNMViewer for any spotty normals before laying down paint. Check this out for more info: http://forum.ysfhq.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=87
  • Try decals next time!
As always, I welcome new modders to the game and hope that you'll be improving soon, because I see potential in every new modder here.
