Did you know about "magnetic declination"?

Think, this scenery have one of it. In latest SceneryEditor it can be changed in menu of scenery property.

Thanks a lot for your comments.
i have noticed that when using autopilot with option 5 (fly heading bug) in this map, the autopilot flies one degree to the left of the heading bug. example: if i set the heading bug to 123, autopilot flies 122.
Yes. As u2fly said, this scenery is set magnetic variation(1degree to east).
This function was added from YSVer. 20120701.
However, autopilot heading bug mode and ATC's direction of YS are still using True bearing, not Magnetic bearing.
I think it is a bug of YS, and still reported it to Mr. Yamakawa.

A lot of airports to fly (yes it's make me confused where to fly). Since you're a newbie, you contribute a scenery with a lot of airports and that's very good. I like it. :)

A lot of thanks for this map K2W! I can fly over my native valley :-)
For your culture, Sion airport is the only mixed civil/military airport in Switzerland.

Hello, every one.
I'm progressing renewal ALPS map project.
Now, I complete North half of my plan, and decide to publish it.
this include from Lyon of France in the west to Venice of Italy and Salzburg of Austria in the east.
You can get it from my web site
https://sites.google.com/view/k2wysf/modern
AlpsV2_North.png
I wish to finish South half until next spring. But, I'm a little tired to making scenery, so I will do an other project, making aircraft add-on, before progressing south half.
Please have fun flight our new north ALPS map.
And, please expect and wait for completion the other half.

I've kept you waiting for a long time.
Now, I released full-size ALPS Ver. 2.0 sceneries.
This addon include 8 partial map, one fullsize-map and light version.
Fullsize-map and light version are unstable due to these huge data-sizes and programatic boundaly of YSFLIGHT.

https://sites.google.com/view/k2wysf/modern
ALPSv2.png
Containts

ALPSv.2(NW)
ALPSv.2(NE)
ALPSv.2(SW)
ALPSv.2(SE)
THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0_North
THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0_South
THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0_West
THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0_East
THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0 *very unstable
THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0(Light) *unstable

There are more than 100 airfields from large International Airport such as Zurich or Malpensa, to small runway for General Aviation.
Airfields and NavAids are put as SkyVector and other Web Infomations.
Let's Fun for Flight.

※Magnetic variation: 2' EAST.
※Runway lights are only on ILS Runway.
※No NavLights of airfields.

※Data size of this scenery is so large, which is near limmit for YSFLIGHT. So possibly, it may not work confortably. Especially, "THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0 " and "THE_ALPS_Ver.2.0(Light)" will do crash to desktop with a high probability, when you start the simulation.
Then, You can try follow procedure.

1. Push "OK" at Create New Flight (Don't push "Fly Now").
2. Push "Fly Now!" at home menu.
3. Crash to Desktop
4. Restart your YSFLIGHT
5. Push "Retry Previous Flight" at home menu.

If you can't play the game after this procedure, I'm sorry but, I can't do anything about it.
Please play only partial maps.

I'm afraid that someone blame or ask Soji for this addon's problem.
Please refrain from such acts as it is a violation of etiquette.
