[SCENERY] Fictional Combat Map Series - #1

Post by kiwiflieger »

This map is a fictional scenario in which a foreign fleet have recently gained control of the previously uninhabited Yawdim Reef in international waters.
They also plan to capture the nearby H'guorobracs Shoal, which is inside the waters of another nation. The only thing that stands between the foreign invaders and victory is Maug Atoll, a well established airbase to the west of Yawdim.
Let the showdown begin...

Feedback and bug reports are welcome. Please enjoy! :)

Did you use that test scenery editor again? Because I'm having the same problems I had with the Wanaka map before Lor599 fixed compatibility issues.

A YSFlight simulation of the current Philippines/China scuffle over some islands in Phlippines national waters.

Well maybe not intentional. Lovely map, will try it later after work! :D

The map is based to a degree on the current situation in that region, and I intended it to be a semi-fictional 'what-if' type scenario. There's also a hidden easter egg in the map; but beware, for it may be hiding in plain sight... ;)

Many thanks to everyone for your feedback! :)
