Some feedback that you can hopefully incorporate into a future release.
(1) Missing Ground Object?
Looking at gro_indonesia.lst, you have: ground/Monas/monas.dat ground/Monas/monas.dnm ground/Monas/monas.srf
This is not included in the pack.

(2) File locations
It is much easier to have all of your custom files in the user folder. The top-level folder Alim clutters up everyone's installs or makes people edit your gro_indonesia.lst file.

In addition to Decaff's post, I would like to point out that the inclusion of my ground objects is a violation of my terms of use. And here's why...

In the future, I may release new versions of those ground objects. I've actually updated the cranes a few times, for example. The result is that if someone in the future installs this map and they had a newer version of my ground objects, your map could overwrite the ground objects to an older version.

Now, I'll admit that it is unlikely that such a thing would ever happen. What I would suggest instead would be placing the .srf and .dat files for the ground objects in your own user directory. I have no problem with you, or anyone else, just plain ripping off my ground objects. With credit, of course. ;)

Also, it looks like somebody cut a few corners. 8-)

Bug Report: NDB selection crash in Indonesia map

Post by acf492 » Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:28 pm

Hi,

Today I found a repeatable crash while flying with the Indonesia map. (https://ysfid.weebly.com/downloads.html)

When using the NDB selection interface, pressing 9-9 to go from page 2 to page 3 will cause YSFlight to immediately pack up.

I don't know how to report this since it happens in a custom map with many NDB beacons, and that map pack further replaces the stock ndb.dat to increase transmission range.

I am wondering if anyone knows anything more about this bug, or if it is worth reporting to CaptainYS as a bug occurring in a non-stock configuration.
YSF pilot, inactive but not gone.

I think this is better suited to be placed here. If we can confirm repeatable on multiple maps, then it's a YS bug and not a map specific bug.

Thank you for feedback , it happens to me too , i've ask the modder who replace the ndb.dat few days ago (we're working as a team, due to big map), and he said it was bug from YSFlight program , but we still doing a research regarding that error , sorry for your inconvenience

Cheers ;)

Just to be sure, you are opening the rar with WinRAR or 7zip or similar, yes? :)

Try to download it again. If that doesn't work, get 7zip, which is free.

Also, what OS are you running?
