The creation of the community(YSTK/YSP) was a group effort...I was just the leader for a while. No fansite/forum lasts without a group of dedicated people. This one seems to be doing very well.

ysflight is like nostalgic because it reminds me of Domarks Flight Sim Toolkit, which I loved and played with on a shiny new Atari 1040ST
making crap for it is what sparked my interest in 3d modelling, although I never got serious until 3dprinting minis for wargaming

I've been wanting a program like that for decades that didn't need a doctorate to dive into
