Just so that the newer guys be aware of Skyline's modder cred, he made the original mesh of the two Super Deformed plane in my pack (the A-10 and Su-27). And also some of the stuff in Welnio's pack. I think Skyline was around before YSflight supports transparencies.

Yes, I was. Remember the crest we came up with for Michael's squadron and his canard-less SU-37?
That was in opposition to Jacn's Rafales. Both, without transparencies.

Damn, you're making me feel young. BTW, YSP is totally gone. I believe the host deleted to whole forum. Also, this where the 241st is now. I'm not sure if they're even active anymore.

All I can suggest is that you consider how I speak, and compare it to how this other member spoke.
That will speak for itself, I'm sure.

Thankyou, it seems the two-four-one is defunct by inactivity. I wouldn't even know how to get a hold of some of my older addons. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
I still need to complete an SD-CF-104 with TF's name on it, heh...

Skyline wrote:I gave up modelling along with being a control freak and grammar nazi, but I may have a Boeing 314A, HE-111, or 727-200 kicking around in my projects bin.
My fave genre now would be kitplanes, like the Van's RV7, Velocity XL-RG, CH-701, or Rutan Q200.
And I might take up the virtual hammer and chisel again.
For kitbashing then you are in good company. Bombcat, Animal and I are all avid kitbashers along with What-if stuff.
I think you was still around when when we started the "birdFarm" Standard? Transparent cockpit with silhouette pilot(s) etc and a 2D cockpit only visable when inside the plane. We use GAC as a starting point for most models and then go on from there. Reminds me that I should post in my WIP some of my current kit bashes.

Blender has also come leaps and bounds in terms of YS modding... I think the majority now mod and paint using Blender. I for one am a Blenderphile.

I literally said holy cow when I read this topic. I've heard a lot about you over the years.

Anyways welcome back. The 241st is pretty much dead right now, sadly... :(

Thanks for the warm greets. I've still a lot of project meshes in my bin, I'm sure I can contribute in some way.
Philster, do you think you could link me to, or send to me, the most recent 241st pack?
I'd like to fly my F107, Kiowas, A400M, and others that Welnio and I made together.
I just can't see to find the packs anywhere now. There is no download link on the 241st site.
Crazypilot, I got curious and searched for Skyline on the YSFHQ search bar. There are a couple of mentions about me, along with some unfortunate debates about my kind of car. Poor Americans, lol!

Aww, you can't compare the two! My car has a trunk and carries four people. AND I can afford it. Lets see Ferrari do that! ;)

Meh, doesn't sound like too big of a problem.

I suppose its all academic now anyway.
My first Skyline was an R32 GTS-t Type-M with RB20DET, then I got an R33 GTS4 with RB25DETT, but I have no car now, just my motorbike.
When I can, I'll be getting another R33 for sure. Absolutely ideal for me.
