Back in southern hemisphere

Post by CalvT » Sat Jun 07, 2014 6:03 pm

Hi Chaps!
As people might of realized, I´m back in Argentina now, hence my quietness while I get sorted out!! Admittedly I was never that vocal anyway....
Had a lovely long flight on a 777-200, sat on a window seat over the wing, very interesting!! Coming into land was very interesting as well, as there was a 30 meter fog bank, so we entered it and suddenly we landed.......
I had quite a long time during the flight to work on my Gnat, I've just got to finish the cockpit 'dashboard' (as it didn't have one) and then animate and paint! Will post pictures soon.
One question actually - one of the meshes has colour on one side, but on the other is transparent??? How can I solve that???
Anyway, hopefully soon I will be back, wish I could watch the airshow, but do not have the time.... :(

Sounds like a problem with the normals of the polygons.

a polygon in YSF can only be viewed from one side. If you use blender there is an option to see which way the normals are pointing. You want them pointing outward, or the side you would view the particular polygon from.

Actually, a polygon in YSF can be seen on one side or both sides. The default in gepoloyx is for it to be visible on both sides.
