YSFLIGHT INDONESIA DIVISION

Indonesian Ysflight Division (YSFID) made in May 2015. The Forum is still very new and only has 3 members. forum is still under construction, and I asked for advice to admin.and founder of YSFHQ this to help me in the development of this YSFID forum. I'm trying to make this as YSFHQ forum. Because of this very new forum, the forum looked like a blog than a forum.

I desperately need help from the founder and admin here to build YSFID forum

Why would we want to encourage community segregation. Bring them here, plenty of room.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

The biggest problem I can see with just bringing them here is they might not be comfortable with our language.

But yeah, we've seen what can happen with separate communities.

Leave why would he leave?
This is probably the only community left. Theres no where to go. He stuck here with the rest of us, forever.

The idea is not to have separate communities. Much like the YSF Korea community, the idea is to have communities that may be more comfortable for people who speak different languages, maybe not as well in English. HQ is an English speaking community. Of course we welcome everyone but even the rules say to use English the best you can. Some may be more comfortable talking to others that speak a common language.

The main point in this situation is to stay connected with these communities. The only real credible way to do that is with "ambassadors" who are basically users who are multilingual and are willing to pass information between the two areas. A great example would be someone like DD-Destroyer. So in this case, that person could be Mark. I don't think we should so strongly discourage regional or lingual extensions of the YS community. The only one we haven't really been well connected to is 2ch, which is probably the reason we've discovered issues there.

This.

I understand his desire to have a forum in it's own language, totally legitimate. So Mark you''ll probably stay with us while your forum populates, then as VNAF suggested, you are a likely candidate for YS Indonesian ambassador :) And if I may add, would it be possible to communities to share forum content in some way? (like pack links and events and whatever else useful)

To be honest I think You should get a bit more experience here in YSFHQ first before venturing out with YSFID. (just my opinion)

Wow, a lot has changed since I left, I wasn't told about this forum at all and I wasn't even aware that YSFID was growing bigger than I thought. To be honest I don't really support the idea of having a separate forum for Indonesian members because I personally think it's unnecessary and it sort of separates the community. I'd recommend my fellow Indonesian members to just stay here on YSFHQ and learn more here, we can still keep our facebook group to communicate with each other every now and then.

Now that I am back, I'll try to sort everything out on YSID. PM me if you need anything.
