Still hanging on

Post by Gunny » Sun Jul 08, 2018 1:33 am

Hello, my YSFHQ friends. Due to many developments in my personal and medical life, my activities here have been greatly reduced but I have been lurking in the virtual shadows keeping tabs on your activities. Also my Verizon 3g wireless service limits uploads and downloads. And it takes 10 min. for the site to load. Although my health has deteriorated to the point that most of my flying is done by autopilot and heading bug I still enjoy my flights on Neocons [Pats] Caribian map.

We still enjoy your company, Gunny. I hope that it's not too serious and you have some stabilization to where we don't have to worry too much. I asked myself of your whereabouts since I haven't seen you on much.

I'm sorry to hear about your health problems, but I'm glad you're still around and that you're getting enjoyment from that map.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

Though the news of your ill health puts a bit of a damper on the mood, I still think it's safe to say we're all happy to hear from you and know that you're still around.

Sad to hear of your health. Hope you get better, everyone here enjoys your company.
I did not sell very well, so Lockheed killed me. I'm the reason it doesn't make airliners anymore.

Random stuff:
1. They ain't "sharklets", like Turbofan said.
2. The Tu-114 should really go back into service in a redesigned form.
3. The L-1011 should also return, too.
4. My posts are repeatedly deleted on the AM3 forum.
5. Concorde must return!
6. Fegelein can never die, even when Hitler himself tries to kill him. (Downfall parodies)
7. Embraer should restart production of the EMB-110 and EMB-120, as those are my two favourite prop planes.

I will not be leaving here until they play taps over me hence, my kids Christmas present to me. In progress custom made throttle quadrant custom programmed for Ysflight by Tony Cervone of FSXThrottle. https://www.fsxthrottle.com/
To replace my old custom quad made by the same guy a couple of years ago and still works admirably now. Patterned after the classic Beech Baron 58 pre-1963 throttles centered. They had to show me early because Tony needed to have some tech information to make it as close as possible and still work in Ysflight. None the less I was still flabbergasted and delighted, to say the least
