Nothing makes me more excited than seeing a full squadron of operational Flankers in the morning.

If God had wanted the army to fly, he would have made the sky brown.
If God meant man to fly, He'd have given us bigger wallets.
If God had meant for men to fly he would have made their bones hollow and not their heads.

I saw a classic T-6 Texan while walking around the neighborhood the other day. I really need to keep track of any local airshows.

Had a mini air-show by a UH-60 just before going sailing and winning both races. (How can it get better?)

My phone's camera was shitty and I couldn't get a good enough picture to post, but it was pretty awesome.

I was recently in France. While on a mountain (Le Honneck I believe) Two Mirage 2000 planes passed in formation.

And at very close range... ( no really).

A very good day over my house today, I saw about 20 F-15s (night flying), a single RAF Typhoon and the highlight of the day was this...

Image

Apologies for the poor quality but it's a Royal Netherlands Air Force F-16 coded J-016, which was the Dutch F-16 demo aircraft from 2001-2004. I remember a few great displays from this particular airframe back in the day.

Yesterday's highlight. I was in the area of Lakenheath. I saw a few 15's flying around, plus a few landing.

I saw a DC-3 fly by. Along with typical 737s, that also cruise over my house.

That is not a fitting end for such a beautiful plane.

Yeah, that DC-3 was originally used by PIA before being retired. Rusted to oblivion.

One ATR-42 that ran off the end of the runway because it was raining and he didn't stop in time. It's gears collapsed but no one got hurt.
