Finnair A330 takes off, followed by Thai B777-300ER. Later saw Cathay Pacific 747 land, shortly then an ATR-72 used by Bangkok Airways made one of a harsh landing (bounced a bit). Lucky to live next to the airport

The company Ethiopian inaugurated last night the first route of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner for Brazil. The flight coming from Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, touched the soil of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

This flight opens an important link between Brazil and Africa regions that lacked a better service by air, such as East Africa. The inaugural flight had 200 passengers which shows a great start for the company. Credit for the information AEROIN

I finally got the chance to see a 787 Dreamliner as it flew in this afternoon for a weekend visit to ERAU DB. This is probably the best one I got today. What do you guys think of my shot?

I'm going to get more shots of it on Monday. Most likely of the inside and all around the airplane!!! :geek:
Got a bigger version of this shot? Would make a perfect wallpaper.

I saw an ANA Dreamliner in LAX a few weeks ago when I went to California. I couldn't get my camera since we were coming in to land. As for today I saw a Piaggio P.180 Avanti landing at the local municipal airport. It's rare as it doesn't come in that often. Dassault Falcons are common though.

It always make me smile the rest of the day when I hear the distinctive high pitch buzz-saw like sound of twin 5-blade propellers, followed by the sight of a Piaggio Avanti coming in to land at the airport (CYKZ) next to my office. And it just happened again 5 minutes ago. Also that was preceded by a Cessna Citation taking off.

2 Apache helicopters very low over our sports pitches. It was cool because everyone had no idea what they really were.
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

RWY 36 operations in effect today at KTIK, so had a few interesting aircraft pass just to my east, and then came a B-52 bomber right over my house. Always a treat watching that giant fly overhead, and it was at about 3,000 feet just starting the turn for final approach.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

Spotted yesterday and today :

1x Susi Air Cessna Grand Caravan
1x Pelita Air Fokker 100
1x Airfast MD-82
1x Travira Air Dash-8
6x Indonesian Air Force C-130
2x Indonesian Air Force CN-295
1x Indonesian Air Force 737-2X9

Hey all,

Got back from New York today. The army like to have a visible presence over Liberty Island probably as a show of force. Visiting yesterday, this took the form of a UH-60 Blackhawk.
