Ok...send them in without being fully trained and have them get shot down. Thats a smart idea

The CF and USAF had a birthday present for me :D : while at Niagra Falls, 4 CF-18 heading East in formation, flying low and slow. Mid-day , US C-130s flew overhead, and the evening presented a special appearence of an F-22, it either was patrolling or the pilot went AWOL (Top Gun Style).

2 Unknown helicopters departed Northolt this morning, definately not a Lynx, Puma or Merlin, they were small and at first sounded like a jet. I think they were a pair of MH-60's, can anyone confirm this?

More aircraft:
Learjet 45XR
BAE HS125
Islander AL.1
BAE 146
King Air
BAE 125

Was also expecting arrivals for Northolt's families day tommorow, haven't seen anything today, probably because of the rain. :(

Let's see...

3 F-16s
A CF-18 demo
One flying CC-130 and two static USAF birds
2 A-10s
2 T-45s
3 Harvard IIs (2 USAF, 1 CAF)
A USN F-5 (the other had electrical issues...)
Multiple CH-146s
One USCG Dolphin
TBM Avenger (claiming to be the only flying airframe left on the planet)
Lancaster (one of two airworthy)
B-25
The Snowbirds
Some tanks...

Airshows are awesome.

Great Lakes International Airshow. Niiice! The lineup of performers and static is FIRE! I wish I was there. I'm gonna have to plan a trip to a canadian air show some day but I've never been out of the country so it'd be more than the air show that I'd go to. I'm gonna look into that CF Assault Demo as well.

I haven't been out much today. Saw a 737-400 this morning through the window.

2 FAF Rafale B callsign OUP828 landed at Luqa at about 0030LT after one of them developed serious problems in one of the engine during mission OUP, these were the first ever Rafales to land in Malta. One of them departed at around 1430LT, while the other one was doing low power engine runs a few minutes ago.

Also we had a FAF CN235 which brought ground crew for the damaged Rafale, a FAF Caracal heli and a French Navy Falcon 10
