It's rare that I see more than the contrail of a passing jetliner, but today I looked up and saw the red belly of a Southwest Airlines 737 headed west from KBNA.

I heard some Chinooks coming from the west this evening, so I ran in, got my phone, and took some pictures. :)

Went out for a solid 7 hours of walking around in the northeastern part of Singapore today with my section. Spotted an AH-64D flying at low level around lunch, and a C-17 (no idea why it is here) on final approach while trekking through Coney Island a couple of hours later.
Image
Poorly focused picture of mentioned AH-64D while at restaurant. Had hardly enough time to focus the camera, and got judged by section mates.

I mean, is it weird to suddenly run to the windows of my room every time a RMAF EC725 buzzes low over our dorms?

Even if it has occurred many times before...

even if half the time you can't even see it unless it's already far away

you can never get bored of it, right?

This was my first day at Gebyar Dirgantara Yogyakarta 2015 or Jogjakarta Airshow 2015 and I got some photos of the show. It's so sad that my phone's battery got drained when the Indonesian Airforce's SU-30MKs arrived. I hope you enjoy my photos and I'm sorry if they aren't at good quality.

Right, moved out with wife and two kids in August, after a six year stint in Shanghai. Pollution getting to us and Europe provided new opportunities.

Still, most of my releases were made in China. Just cant find the time to mod these days.

(Btw, now that we got more info on the new x-wing, seems i wasnt far off eh?)

The A-10C is still very active and I believe it will be for a long time, thankfully. :)
