Spotted B747 making some test flight around Subang, fly above my house just recently, breaking the silence and wake me up...I guess it probably one of the abandoned 747 in KLIA as it also white in color....

On my way to work I slowly crawled through the morning rush traffic but I was treated to the daily morning DL 717 departure from OKC to ATL. On my way back from work, I got buzzed by a Citation departing from OUN. Plus some AWACS doing circuits around TIK.

My general rant: I will call them blended winglets, not Sharklets; There is no CEO, it's just simply put, an Airbus 319/320/321, or the 320NEO, 321NEO etc. I didn't land IN DAL, I landed AT DAL. On the other hand, I did land in Dallas.

I heard lots of fighter jets noise over my town. Guess that's Saab Jas 39 Gripen.

Went for a 30km cycle amidst some drizzle. I managed to cycle all the way to Changi Coastal Road, which leads to a road beside RW02C of Changi Airport. Also passed by the Singapore Airshow, but didn't see much.
IMG_20160219_171746.jpg
Spotted:
ATR-72 Firefly x2
IMG_20160219_171705.jpg
Biman Bangladesh 737-800
Silkair 737-800, A319
Singapore Airlines A380
Saudia 777
Tigerair A319
A350XWB in original grey-black prototype livery <- I was really excited to see it land, with it deploying its reverse thrust and kicking up the rain on the runway.
IMG_20160219_172807.jpg
^ spent too long marveling at the sight of the 350 that I didn't have time to take a photo before it disappeared behind trees

Plus a whole lot more that I have forgotten. I got back home soaked as the drizzle progressed to rain later on but it was worth it. :D

Today from my class windows this morning, I spotted:
2x RMAF EC725 Cougar (one of it have national flag hanging below)
2x RMAF S61-A4 Nuri (one of it have national flag hanging below)
And few minutes then, some special fast visitors takeoff!
4x RMAF F/A-18D Hornet (flying in diamond formation)
2x RMAF MiG-29N and Su-30MKM (same formation as F-18's)
4x RMAF BAE Hawk (also in diamond)
and it is because of Warrior's Day (fast translate of Hari Pahlawan, correct me if I wrong...) rehersal.
plus it happens almost before recess....

You're very lucky when your school is near the airport. Sometimes I see a prop aircraft fly over my school. :) :)

The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.

Awesome! :)

Everyday when I see out of my balcony or from my school's cafeteria, every half a minute, like in your school and those who reside near airports, :) I would be seeing:

A320 family
B737 family
Air Force transports and special ops! (big and small)
Big airliners
Small airlines
B787 of JAL, Thai, Air India
But the best of all is when you see the big guy, A380(.... Of course one must stay up till mid-night to get a glimpse of it!), and C130, C17 and Il-76..... :)

You never get bored seeing them, take off or land! :)

I saw these fly overhead while visiting my grandmother's grave (10 kilometers away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila):

2 A320s
2 A330s
1 A340

Sadly, because it was getting dark at the time, I could only positively identify the markings on the A340 (Philippine Airlines) and one of the A330s (Singapore Airlines), though I could clearly make out the SkyTeam logo on the rear fuselage of the other A330. :D
