Airshow Crash in California

Post by dustydan1995 » Mon May 05, 2014 1:42 am

Sorry that i haven't been on in a while, but I happened to stumble across this on my facebook page

The Travis AFB airshow on Sunday was cancelled after a Super Stearman crashed into the ground during the performance. People have confirmed of the pilot as Eddie Andreini, who flew countless airshow routines in countless aircraft, one of them being his famous super stearman. The base officials have closed down the base so FAA and NTSB Investigators can determine the cause of the crash. Unfortunatly, the world will never see Eddie's talent for flying. Eddie Andreini died doing what he loved at 77 years of age. R.I.P

My Reaction To This Topic: 'What the fu... O-O"

Oh god. Not another fatal plane crash at an airshow. I have to say that I'm sorry for Eddie's family's loss. I feel sad now ;_;

And GIZ, a gust of wind? Those planes are supposed to withstand a gust of wind. We'll just have to wait and see what the investigators come up with.

What do I do with my life now... :'(

I am surprised that you have seen the crash. That reminded me of when I saw the f-14 tomcat crash at willow Grove in 2000

I would like to extend my condolences to his family. I may have not seen his work, but knowing that his loss is garnering so much attention, I believe we will never see anything like him again.

Requescat in Pace.
