Yes, the news about this plane are everywhere. If it's crashed, all of my prayers are for those people onboard  . Especially because this is an Indonesian aircraft and I'm from Indonesia too  . But I hope the plane isn't crash.

As a Malaysian myself who has witnessed the dissapearence and shooting down of his country's own aircraft, this saddens me deeply.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news folks but the A320 only had 4 and a half hours of fuel, so in reality the plane has most likely crashed.

Good to see the RAAF and RoSAF (And more) lending a helping hand with P-3's and C-130's.

My thoughts are with the families, certainly doesn't seem good at this time.

My two cents:
Most over-used phrase of 2020: "New normal". Can we stop with that already? Pandemics do not last forever, and things will eventually go back to normal.

There's talk that there may have been an issue stemming from a frozen pitot tube - there are procedures to deal with such a thing, but it might have been the originating problem from which others arose.

Indonesian Air Asia flight 8501 disappear

Post by FreezingFalcon » Tue Dec 30, 2014 7:40 am

Latest news : The Indonesian government reported that one of their C-130 plane and warship spotted some debris that are located near Bun base, near Borneo that is likely the Air Asia QZ8501. Some of them are likely aircraft parts, life jacket, emergency exit door, and probably a body.

I heard that but also heard frozen fuel pipes, much like when the BA 777 crashed at Heathrow

Found bodies floating in ocean. I guess you can say it's confirmed now.
