Re: 360 Degrees of Aviation
This is an old thread, but I might as well spew it out. I just now saw the DC-10 for what it really is: a worthy airliner given a bad reputation by some high profile incidents, more than half of which weren't McDonnell Douglas's fault.NightRaven wrote: ↑Wed Dec 26, 2012 12:29 pmIt was made jointly by both Northrop and McDonnell Douglas. The latter had produced DC-10s for 17 years then.
For some reasons I like the DC-10. A lot.
Random stuff:
1. They ain't "sharklets", like Turbofan said.
2. The Tu-114 should really go back into service in a redesigned form.
3. The L-1011 should also return, too.
4. My posts are repeatedly deleted on the AM3 forum.
5. Concorde must return!
6. Fegelein can never die, even when Hitler himself tries to kill him. (Downfall parodies)
7. Embraer should restart production of the EMB-110 and EMB-120, as those are my two favourite prop planes.
