The Boeing 747 has four engines, and was well known in Brazil when operating for a certain airline (VARIG). Just like the Airbus 340.

Then Airbus took that and slapped on an extra level on top and made the current superjumbo.

The same company also made the MD-500 helicopter, used for civilian purposes. A military variant was also produced.

The helicopter that the MD 500 clearly derived from, the OH-6 Cayuse. The Cayuse is then further developed into the MH-6 Little Bird, or more affectionately, The Death Egg.

The Kawasaki OH-1 fulfills a similar scouting role for the JGSDF.

The T-38 is also a great trainer aircraft that has been in service for decades. Here's a pic of it in the 1970s USAF Thunderbirds. The Thunderbirds changed from their F-4 Phantom II jets to the T-38 during the 1970 fuel crisis. The fuel cost of flying 6 t-38s is the same as 1 F-4 during acrobatics. Quite the savings!

The Mig-29 was made to counter its American counterpart the F-16 Fighting Falcon or some call it the "Viper".

Which was adopted by Japan and further developed it into the slightly bigger Mistsubishi F-2 Viper Zero.

Japan has also selected this American fighter jet to be it's next generation fighter.

If that's not related enough, they both run on Jet fuel.

I assume that's the F-35. If it is, then the same company made the world's first ever operational stealth aircraft: the F-117.

Not really an aircraft in the category that people call beautiful.

The F-117 was made by Lockheed... As was the ALTB missile defense laser on this 747:

The 747 is clearly made by Boeing. And Boeing made the X-32 for the Joint Strike Fighter contest.

The X-32 lost the the X-35 in the Joint Strike Fighter contest, similarly how the YF-23 Black Widow lost to the YF-22 in the Advanced Tactical Fighter competition.
