Great article on civility in airline travel

Post by Turbofan »

The points the author is trying to make are completely valid. The recent incidents that occurred among various airlines are indeed the exception. At the same time, some humans could do well do re-visit what public courteousy and etiquette actually mean. Of course, social media is always right isn't it?

I think the last statement sums it up best: "Perhaps some old-fashioned manners are just what is needed, and not just when on board an airplane." No truer words have been stated in any article in recent memory. Of course, it applies only to that percentage of the general public who think they have the authority over others to do as they please.
