Share your Artistic Talents

Post by Seraphim » Mon Feb 07, 2011 9:17 pm

This is a place to share your non-YS related artistic talents with the community: music, drawing, painting, photography, writing, etc. may be posted here.

Please do not share works created by others in this topic.

Violence and gore are okay but please avoid directly posting graphic nudity, etc. (think PG-13). However, this is not to stifle your creativity. If you think that your post may not be "work safe" simply provide a link to the work with a warning about the content.

If you provide a link for other reasons (large image, etc.) you must still provide a brief description of the content. Don't just say "link", "photo", etc.

Any posts which violate forum rules will be handled accordingly.

This is a preview of a drawing I created recently with my Bamboo Pen Tablet. Click on the image to see the fullsize version on Deviantart:

Bamboo for the win. Once you master it, the possibilities are limitless.

I like the lineart of this drawing. However, I feel like the folds in the clothing could have been added. The lighting is nice, the shading is nice, and the rain is quite nice, albeit maybe a bit too symmetrical.

Keep at it.

Thank you. Clothing folds are one of the things I really need to work on. I usually ever over or under do them.

As Iceman can attest, I'll likely be spending quite a bit of time here. Lots of rejected pieces will be abounding...

A sampling:

Actually, I was referring to your graffiti.

I replied before I looked at everything.

But dang, both of you have way too much talent to be on the internet.

But isn't the internet just a great way to get attention for their stuff?

:D plus, we get to enjoy it.

Not to revive a month dead topic, but I took this picture at the Navy Pier in Chicago when I was there on a free day with Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps during the summer of 2007.

In the interim, more pics.
