A bit of a *bump*, but WOW! Looking at this my already meager artwork is shown-up a million times over again! Great jobs guys!
Am I back? Probably not.

School for me just ended yesterday. So, I stopped being lazy and finally cleaned up my room. And to my pleasant surprise, I've found my old drawings "neatly" stored inside a disintegrating paper file. Most of them were just sketches, but I've decided to post some of them here.

These pencil drawings were made in 2007/2008 when I was still in primary school. And yes, I am THAT bad at drawing proper animal anatomy.
A Pterygotus (the limbs should be more segmented and skinny):

A flying Pterosaur (the pteroid bone on its wrists are missing):

And my beloved Hyneria (pretty much everything is wrong):
Image

This drawing however was made very recently during a school assembly which I clearly wasn't paying any attention to. It's a hybrid of a Mosasaur and a Liopleurodon.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I drew my first Bf-109 today,
So, how did I do?

Image
Well, I was a little surprised that I'd even draw this thing. Turns out my fondness of the Bf-109 series was true after all. Comments and criticisms are encouraged.

I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

After a pretty suck-ish day at school I decided to cheer myself up by challenging myself to draw something I've never drawn before.

So I chose the King Tiger... heh...
Image
The whole thing took me about an hour and a half. I took several pics of the tank and the crews from the web. To tell you the truth, I didn't put up enough effort in making it. But it was probably because of the headache I received from the homework I'm forced to do today. :?

Still, this is my first serious tank I've done. And because it, I think it's something that I could be proud of.
And who knows? I might draw another one, just for fun this time.

Looking through all this...
*sudden realisation that my art is inferior-weeps in a corner*

Not looking too bad zak, except for the second picture, which looks like the face is of the wrong gender...

After a long and painful attempt at getting the angles right, I'm finally satisfied of how this drawing turned out. I've got an unusual affinity for tanks right now. Particularly to WW2 ones. But my love affair for aircraft is still strong though.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Type 10 Main Battle Tank (pronounced One-Zero, not Ten)
Image
Took me several reference pictures and quite a few coffee drinks to finish this. Anyways, I'm happy the way it turned put. Though I'm still scared to apply some camo to it. Oh well...

This tank's design has a certain sexiness factor to it, similarly to the Leopard 2a5 of the German army, maybe it the shape of the hull, or that elongated turret. Anyway, considering it is a Japanese design, might as well add Mount Fuji behind it. Maybe I could present this as a gift to the awesome Japanese Ysflight Community and of course Soji for making Ysflight it is today.
