Electric Guitar, standing by.
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

So I finally had a chance to properly go see the Avengers. They really pulled it off well.

Heh, it was pretty good, but there's a few problems with it. Mainly the amount of time that goes into it; the stock takes like four hours, the noodles take two (and they're really hard to cut thinly, mine are still pretty thick) and if I had actually bothered to do real toppings like I had intended to do, it would have taken even longer still. (think char siu, narutomaki, konegi, seaweed, shinachiku ect)

still, I'm pretty happy with it.

Damn, you make your own stock and noodle too? Amazing.

You gotta watch Tampopo if you haven't done so before.

Haha, you're the second person to tell me that this week. Guess I'll need to get cracking on finding a copy of it.

Bought something off amazon, the retailer is shipping from a city seven hours away. Today I got a notice it's going to take 4-6 weeks to ship. The fuck. Twenty bucks worth of shipping too. Are they sending it to Antarctica and back?

In other news, the stuff over at http://www.howsweeteats.com/ is fucking delicious. Made a few recipes off there so far (namely the banana bread and those pizza stuffed mushrooms) and they were a big hit. You folks should have a peek.
