I feel like pie-oriented LOTR movie nights are a most excellent idea. As for the silmarillion, I powered through that thing a couple years ago. It was alright, but it was much more of a world building thing than it was a story. I WOULD recommend his son's "children of hurin" title though. That was a pretty good read. (and the book was just beautiful to look through, yay pretty pictures.)
Anyone going to go see the hobbit movie next december?

It's amazing how little time I seem to have and how much you all like pie. Today is muffin day also I'd like to try making yakisoba pan because a noodle sandwich just sounds fun.

noodle sandwich? huh...how about 豬仔包? (pork chop sandwich). I've done that a couple times in a BBQ, where you barbecue a piece of pork chop, then 2 pieces of bread, then sandwich the pork chop between the bread. Not very healthy, but crispy and tasty...no, seriously, it's tasty. Speaking of noodles, I have some instant noodles. Want them?

I may be mistaken, but I believe each dorm room has the ability to cook something for the occupant only. I found this can help if you want anything particularly special and sera does not have the time.
My apologies sera if I am mistaken, or seem to be intruding in any way by saying this.
