Are you kidding? That was clearly the best comedic acting I have ever seen. Those Chinese are absolutely hilarious. Ah-ha-ha-ha.

No.

Stuff happened, mostly drama (which made the community pretty active tbh).

How are the orphans?

I was going to grow some ghost peppers in my garden, but the seeds were nearly $10 each.

I think I've figured out rice and pasta pilaf, so I'll leave some for everyone in the dorm to sample.

Place 1 tbs of butter, 1 tbs olive oil, 1/4 of an onion (diced), and 3 tbs of short pieces of dry, thin noodles in a 1-quart pan on medium heat. Stir the onions and noodles until the noodles start to toast (turn brown) and add 1/2 cup of instant rice. Continue toasting the rice and noodles until the rice starts turning golden brown. Add 1/8 tsp each of ground, black pepper and garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp each of dry basil, parsley, and chives. Either add 1 cup of chicken broth or 1 cup of water with two or three chicken bullion cubes. Continue on medium heat until the liquid boils, stirring constantly, then reduce to low and continue stirring for 2 minutes. Turn off the burner, continue stirring every 20 seconds for 1 minute, then place a lid on the pan for 10 minutes.

The whole process, from chopping the onions to the end of the ten minutes, should take about 20 minutes.

thanks Patrick.

i know that nandos is some sort of food, but to me it sounds like a bare bones disk operating system for some sort of microcomputer(ie, Nano DOS).

How about some peanut brittle? I just made a batch.

In a 2-quart pan, add 2 cups of sugar, 1/2 cups of water, 1/2 cups of peanuts, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of cayenne powder. Heat the mixture over medium-high heat and stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown, or just a little darker. The darker it gets, the harder it is. Once it reaches the correct color, add 1 tablespoon of butter, remove from the heat, and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir it again as you pour it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper that hangs over the sides to contain the brittle. It should cool within 20 minutes. Break it apart into 2"x2" pieces and store in a zip lock bag.
