Vern has decided to take a second job, so he is now the dorm's maintenance and sanitation chief. His duties include fixing the ice machine after it is assaulted by self-aware, robotic vacuum cleaners, and restoring robotic vacuums to their formerly non-self-aware forms. In other words, he'll be dropping by with your roomba in the morning.

Vern had a bad experience with a demestobot while flying on the YSSA map. He never had any tolerance for self-aware, robotic vacuums again. He factory resets them the second he finds one.

Also, that is exactly how Vern looks. Nice sketch.
