Yea, that too, though that was more for ironic reasons... I nearly sank a topper...

Well, my is because of a game, Command And Conquer - Red Alert, there is a soldier caller Volkov, he has a dog called Chitzkoi. Volkov is a Cyborg and Chitzkoi is a Cybernetic dog.
And in the past I used Blaze/Mobius One because of Ace Combat

You might not know this, but I have an alternate [user]name now: BinarySentinel. Why this? The definition of a sentinel is "a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch." I'm the binary sentinel because I often stand (technically sit) and keep watch over things that make use of binary - all sorts of computer systems. And when things go bad, I fire off a couple Linux commands to fix it.
I make this website.

Raavan or Ravana is the primary villain in the epic Ramayana. He is described as a believer of the god Shiva the Destroyer, a great scholar, a capable ruler and is said to have the knowledge of all four vedas and six shasthras. He was a very (very) powerful person and his name sounds good(to me). So I chose the name Raavan.

Mobiyus always been my online user name (with many different spelling) for any online interactions. I use that name as a tribute for two things : 1. Obviously, Mobius 1 from AC series, and also for Mobius the Timestreamer from the Legacy Of Kain series (PS1, PS2). They are the games i loved most as a teen.

Svarttrost. In Norwegian - blackbird. I always felt connection with this swift and musical flying little creature. Inspired by norwegian musician Kvitrafn, i created my own "northern" variant Svarttrost, which i sometimes shorten to "Svart".

Well... since i do have more or less 2 names in the interwebs the name TheNicofabi came actually from my early first name Nicofabi... the thing why it was Nicofabi is becausei wanted to combine the name that i have with a name i would like to have and the reason for TheNicofabi was actually because somehow somebody on youtube used Nicofabi already... last year through the growing Anime fandom in myself i added Kaito into it so thats actually why i am more or less a 3 name guy on the interwebs now... TheNicofabi|Kaito ^^

For those of you that never worked out the vague backstory behind Prince Darkstar, I finally remembered it...

I'm sure most of you know about Ozzy Osbourne, one of my old favorite singers from back in 2011/12.
Well, one of his nicknames is The Prince of Darkness...

Barracuz-

Was a childhood name assigned when I was about 7 by my neighbor. My real name is Mario, so it was obviously copied from Mario Barracus.
Why is it Barracuz and not Barracus you ask? Well its because I didnt know how to spell it back then and well Ive kept it like that...

First hopped on a YS server with the callsign "Cheezer", but due to my use of the 2006 version of YS in 2011 I was frequently autokicked(I though it was the admin) from servers. After a week or more of this version issue, I decided it would surely be a brilliant plan to change my name and go in disguise as "Copperhead" AKA "Agkistrodon contortrix" Image AKA Cu-Head Image

Oh, and I did eventually get the 2011 version, but by that time the name had stuck.

Re: Origin of your username

Post by Silver Sergeant »

well i have used many user name but i have mainly be known as, Silver Sergeant.

It all started off back in Malaysia, one of my friend had a username : 'Bronze boss'

he explained how he wanted his username be 'Gold boss' but it was taken, so he then looked into 'Silver boss' but unfortunately for him, this name was also taken so he had to use 'Bronze boss'. (its for a online game or something, i forgot what it is :( )

before then my username was all gibberish with random english words add together, but his user name inspire me to make a cooler sounding and more decent username , so i initaly thought if all the 'bosses' are taken... so why not just change the last name? so i got with bronze general, silver general, and gold general. at this point gold general gives a little ring in my head, i realized its the alliteration in gold general. like Bronze boss, it gives a nice tune to it. so i tried a alliteration with silver, the result initially was Silver Surgeon, but of course then a talk with my friend he misheard it as Silver sergeant, so after a bit to chat i realized my mistake and a better username was born :)

now i have two username, Silver Sergeant and Gold General, which should i choose?
i finally decided Silver Sergeant, firstly its because i like the colour silver more than gold, secondly its because my skills in that online game are not that good so i am more of a 'sergeant' than a 'general' so i decided to be more humble with my username and choose Silver Sergeant.

and thats why i had my username now.
on side note"(i didn't consider username with bronze because i can't find a good alliteration with it :) )

Well Silver Sergeant in a fire fight I would prefer a squad of sergeants to a company of Generals any day. ;) The Generals may give the orders but the Sergeants make it work. :D
