New speed. Fiber optic, I love you. Provider happens to have a 200mb/s up AND down package but besides being total overkill, it's a little pricey ($100 a month).

Someone from the internet company told us that they had slightly increased every customer's speed. To check it out, I gave it a test run.
(faster than 90% of Pakistan :3)

Internet boosted to 40/40 (holy crap). This test if from my room on the other side of the house from the router. There are around 3-4 walls in between myself and a distance of 15 yards or so. I have a problematic wireless receiver, too. Roku 2 XS was also streaming Netflix in HD. All of that coming through a dying wireless G router. I believe speed is pretty accurate if you consider the factors. Here's the results.

Edit: Just discovered that we do not appear to actually be getting 40/40. It's still 15/15 for some reason...

So, at my summer course at HKUST (google it) my internet was a dream - 300 download and 250 upload. I'll see if I can host a YSFLIGHT server on my next summer course.

Really now? REALLY NOW? REALLY? F-?!

I hate it when there are no broadband cables around and you have to use phone internet connection. And for the record, it's, like, -9001G phone signal over here. I mean, the phone tower is about 3 miles away, ON A MOUNTAINTOP, WITH A DISH POINTED AT MY BEDROOM WINDOW. I can see it over there. COME ON, T-MOBILE!

UPLOAD: 0.106 Mbps ( 0.01 MBps )

Edinburgh isn't actually my hometown, its 130 miles North-East of Edinburgh. Speedtest.net gave me a better score for this server, so I just used that.
