Minecraft

Let all those who play this wonderful game talk about it here!

I started playing about a year or so ago. I have just recently gotten into the creative construction mode, after a lot of survival playing.

here's a quick shot of my latest build:
Image

I'm thinking about doing a whole line of aggresive/passive mobs facing eachother on the road leading into my castle area.

I also got a little redstone gate to keep zombies out of the villagers. I'm thinking about releaseing the plans I've used for the statues in PDF form, but who knows.

I used some screen shots to get the dimensions. Total 100% acurate to in-game model.

Sweet! I've been playing for nearly a year and a half now. I started in 1.2.5. The very first thing I built was a tiny little castle. With the addition of Maddox, I eventually got to the monstrosity in the spoiler below. I have no idea how many blocks it is but there are two other buildings behind the one shown that are equal to two of the one here. There are two stables as well with room for 4 horses each and a harbor complete with a ship. The main gate is just behind the camera. I've built about half a town outside the gates around a natural lake generated there.

Image

This one is for my new project. Its actually a visually model of the location of a story I've been working on. I used World Painter to custom generate the world and then I plan to build locations as I write the story. I hope it will help me keep the world natural and believable as well as consistent. Its a pretty fun project. I'm just hoping that my interest will last all 68,000 chunks......

Ahh yes. I remembered playing Minecraft back in the 1.7 update. I still do though, but not a s frequent as I used to.
Here's one of the first houses I've ever built). It was built upon a naturally occurring lava pit which I've used as temporary shelter in the early stages. Then I decided to really make use of it and even built a mushroom-wooden house thingy on top. Oh the memories <3

Overall Structure:

Interiors: Main bedroom with bunks

Panic room 1st level

Panic room 2nd level

Main doorway

The kitchen with sinks and alleged oven (also trap doors to throw out any rubbish or waste)

And the stairs leads to the above rooftop level for those sunny afternoon baths

Some decorative plants and some seats. Perfect for tea time

And the obligatory farm and underground cave system under the lava pit

I love the game. I use the Xbox 360 version, we can post a few pics of an amazing F1 car Wolfman and I built with a few others soon.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. But what I do have are a very particular lack of skills, skills I have imagined having over a very long career. Skills that make me are completely useless in any situation. If you stop reading now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't stop reading, I will look for you, I will probably not find you, and I will kill your refrigerator.

Well, actually I'm playing the Pc version. Me have no console. Never felt the need to acquire one.
Texture pack is the Sphax's PureBD Craft. It makes Mineraft looks like as if it was an action comic. It's one of those packs that I won't play Minecraft without. Don't take my word for it. Try it out for yourself!

Some of you may be interested to know I ran into BuckNasty on woodycraft the other day. His handle is bucknasty2008.

He misses us a bit. Mostly Ice and Mav.

Haven't played it in over a year due to the crappy framerates. (~4 fps)

Although I did manage to build a house (for Tekkit) and a floating island.

That's a really nice looking house! Did you have plans that you built it from, or did you just design it yourself? Either way, really, really impressive.

My inspiration came from various real baroque buildings all around Europe. The original plan was my own - a half building, but later it was extended into this final look. I wish i had more pictures.
