Vector Thrust

Just stumbled upon this, looks like an Ace Combat clone done right and highly moddable. Since it's early access, it's safe to say it's still lacking of proper content that isn't aircraft and still rather buggy. Looks like basically anything in-game can be modded however.

I've been backing it since it's creation and can safely say it IS what you think it is Digger. And yes, it's buggy, It's in Early Access, what do you expect?

To be honest, I'm expecting the dev to focus on wider aircraft type first, then focus on the variants but forget about it.

I may consider getting it once I get my new PC.

Got it, bought these days and its a very cool game. I say you guys ahould test it. And buy it on steam, since Desura stopped supporting the project.

It's not really that they stopped supporting it, it's more or less that Linden Lab stopped giving a damn about keeping the site going.

Both are wrong. At first/Desura early alpha release, VT had no publisher at all and stuck at Greenlight limbo, until the point where Iceberg got the deal to publish the game, thus eventually the Desura version had to be discontinued as part of the contract.

Besides, I remember some guys at Desura/Moddb said those who have purchased the early alpha version should've got the Steam key already.

Anyways. Talk about the game guys, not about the publisher :D

I picked this up a couple days ago. It's obviously unfinished, and pretty broken in places. The difficulty spikes can, at times, be baffling. For all that, there's a heck of a lot of potential here, and I'm really eager to see where it goes, and what modders may add over time. When you overlook the flaws, there's just enough of that old Ace Combat feel to make it really nice.

Knowing we have a few people that have VT, i say we get on multiplayer sooner or later.

Just bought the game, this is among the "first" thing I do.

(yes that's Ace Combat Colonel's RVR-01 Gauntlet from TFYS pack, for testing purpose)

Sadly, that's all so far. It crashes during mission loading.
