Thought of the day: Tuesday, GTA:O, Heists, major disappointment for everyone.

My thoughts are kind of cluttered tonight.

I'm trying to face the fear that I'll somehow mess up a pencil drawing I made of the Catalina flying boat. I originally intended to be an all black and white drawing, but I decided it'd be neat to venture into unproven grounds and used colour pencils to finish the job. Now I think it's not looking very good and I might need to restart it all over again. :(

@RzB - that's especially true for my older carburetted engine!

Thought of the day: If you make $7.50 an hour (State of Virginia current minimum wage), then don't blow your weekly paycheck running the roads and eating expensive restaurants. It's bad enough I know someone like this...what makes it worse is that it's one of my relatives who constantly tries to bum spending money off me.

I saw a Cessna fly over while I was taking down my Christmas decorations in front of the house. I wish I had the money for a license and a plane.

Thought of the day: Having your own plane is not much good when you also have a strong fear of heights.

That feel when expecting a 0/15 for an assessment...

Instead get 14.50/15

Wat.

Not complaining but... wut!?

Should I spend my cash windfall on a newer expensive car or another cheap beater

Wouldn't mind getting me the '15 Hyundai genesis. But then again winter is finally receding and many Land Rover Discos and Subarus are going for dirt cheap.

A Datsun? Hell no. @Barra getting something inbetween is always nice. Beaters are cheaper but if you have to sink a bunch of money and effort in keeping them running then it's not worth it.

Some of my best, childhood memories involve riding around in the country with my grandfather in his old, rusty Datsun pickup truck.

On a serious note, though, I'd look around for a low-mileage Silverado. Then again, that is what I drive every day.

What year? What trim? how is it with gas? How about maintenance? Do you have to spend much every year on maintenance(alternator, bushings, fluid changes, etc)? Can you do donuts comfortably and easily without having too worry to much about the rear bearings?

I don't mind working on my cars. In fact, I believe that everytime you open the hood you and your vehicle enhance and strengthen the already strong and romantic bond that you both have.

Wankels are good only until you port the housings. That's a $1500 job itself. Or you could dremel it out yourself and drive around with shavings tearing up the apex seals.
