TOTD:

Why do ATMs have a withdrawal limit? Yea I know its to prevent fraud and to stop crooks or your girlfriend from emptying out your account but banks should at least have a called in "excemption period" where you establish a time frame where your account is exempt from all withdrawal limits.

Go into the branch - I've withdrawn $5000 cash once...
I am an accountant working full-time (and some). I'm not here as often as I would like to be. Send a message if you need me. There are a few people in the community who can get in contact with me urgently if you need - don't be afraid to ask. I just don't check here as frequently as I used to. Sorry!

My bank is a small union so their hours aren't the same as big corps like BA or Santander hence the need of atm withdrawal limit exemption.

Buy several, big-screen TVs at Walmart, then roll them to the Customer Service desk to get a refund, and get it in cash. <- probably won't work

Have it fixed and still be cheaper than buying a new one? 160k is a lot of miles, though. What year?

Though of the day: Buy a low-mileage, used car. Let some broke guy pay for the depreciation.

Well its an '01 confirmed grandpa highway miles...

Well im just a bit paranoid. So many stories of people driving off with their new car and bam! that "bad luck" guy from the Allstate commercials appears out of nowhere.

But since I know what to look for I am proud of the purchase. Of course with any used car there will be things that need fixing and in this case the drive shaft support bearing, driveshaft u-joints, an oil change and new brake pads and rotors all around and a nice wash, detailing and lots of wax.

I know someone who has decided to try veganism. Instead of a hamburger, this person tried a vegie burger and was shocked to find milk and eggs in the ingredients. Personally, I would rather take the time to get some raw beef and grind it myself than deal with heavily-processed vegetable product.

TOTD: Windows Live Movie Maker is surprisingly easy to learn and use. My only gripe with it so far is that in order to make an instant preview of your work, it'll load every single one of your selected videos simultaneously, or so it seems. I don't think my GPU isn't very happy about it.

I'm SOO glad that I upgraded me lappy's RAM earlier this year.

I just use the adobe suite for everything due to the fact that I can do all my graphics in Illustrator, Photoshop and Fireworks, Video in After Effects and Premier, audio in Encore and Audition and Web Design in Dreamweaver, Flash (which I NEVER use :P), Edge Animate, Edge Reflow and Muse.

[s] pfffft flat earth theory? Everyone knows the earth is a actually concave hollow earth, and we all live on the surface inside the sphere! Also, a big benevolent hamster named Hamtaro carries the earth on his back, and when he's tired he drops us for a minute to rest, causing earthquakes and eruptions. Don't be an idiot!

Also, worshippers of the Hamtaro constantly go for pilgrimage to the south pole, as you are closest to Him at the south pole.

May the Great Hamster not nibble you. [/s]
