Growing up in the 80s, my favorite group was Alabama, but I also enjoyed The Eagles, and this was one of their songs I always liked. It's kind of slow, but has high points I would expect from a faster-beat song.

A local radio talk show host, Bill Way (who died last fall :( ) told a story related to the song. This is the song that caused its solo singer to get kicked out of the band. Meisner was sick with the flu and wanted to take it easy and not perform it at a concert, but Frey demanded he take it to the limit one more time for an encore, but Meisner refused and a fight ensued. Meisner left later the band.

Vince Gill, another of my favorites from the late 80s/early 90s, went on tour with the Eagles a couple of years ago and performed Meisner's part and sang this song.

This entire post was inspired by Bill Way. "Often wrong, but never in doubt."

Great piece of jazz (definitely NOT elevator) music from the great Joe Sample (especially if you like awesom piano compositions):

Pretty cool tune by Jonn Serrie from the '80s. Another one of those Local on the 8s favourites on TWC from back in the day...

Ngl this remix sounds great
The A380 is ahead of its time. With the resilient passenger traffic growth for times to come (reference from Airbus's Global Market Forecast), plus congested airports, the A380 could not be ignored.

No auto-tune here, just pure singing.

Today playlist:
  • 'Odyn v kanoe' - «U mene nemaye domu» (eng. «I has no home-house»)
  • Andrij 'Skryabin' Kuzmenko - «Mistsya shchaslyvyh ludey» (eng. «Happy people places»)

U.S. Senator John McCain wrote:“Spending #NewYearsEve w/ brave #Ukrainian Marines at a forward combat outpost
- we stand w/ them in their fight against #Putin's aggression”
