Great idea, I can get menu ideas XD

Yeah most of the Brits I know have a strange attraction to the bacon sarnie-I'll have to try it sometime :D

My favorite food is just about all of my family's Italian recipes such as meatballs, scrapelle, gnocchi, porkette, meat sauce, and braciole. All of these things must be finished off with a nice loaf of fresh backed hard bread for sopping up the sauce/juice and some salad and you have the perfect meal.

Hey I love bacon-I'm just told I've never had real bacon until I've had a British bacon sarnie. However, the best food in the world is Italian food when your family is Italian like mine, and quite possibly British when your family is British (although if you're Scottish and think its Haggis you are 12 kinds of delusional). It's a phenomenon referred to as "soul food" here in America. The food that makes you feel good emotionally as well as physically is the best.

Still, you've probably never had real Italian food-and Sicilian doesn't count ;)

I have had Itlalian food as my best mates mum is Italian and all her food rocks....she goes back every month to buy more food....I wish I had a full on British food family as my parents always cook noormal things like curry, fish fingers etc....I wish I had a true hearty food family and Italian food is second best IMO for being hearty....
