Had on and off T-storms, one knocked out power just a few mins ago.

On a possibly unrelated note - The Marriott Hotel in Florence caught fire, as I was going to the store, Florence PD, FD and EMS were running like they had a AMRAAM up their ass.

Well the first of a series of storms went through the area yesterday and despite a PDS tornado watch, we got pretty lucky in terms of hail and tornadoes (though there was tennis and baseball sized hail in western OK, and a few tornadoes). There was plenty of stright-line wind damage and a possible EF0-EF1 night time tornado that went through the NE part of Oklahoma City but we just got some wind and rain (and some small hail) down here.

The next storm will come late Thursday into Friday, this time it's more of a heavy rain/flooding threat.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for my signature, I can tell you I don't have one. It stormed this morning. Lightning killed my DSL. The phone line still works, though. I never use the phone.

Its been a real freak, but predicted, weather out here .....

It was all hot in the morning and afternoon at ~45C ......then in the evening, all of a sudden, it grew real dark, clouds all over, then every minute the weather changed from a nasty dust storm to a heavy drizzle then to calm winds, then again another spell of heavy drizzle, but this time time with steaming hot loo-the wind.....and then just heavy winds, ............................which allowed aircrafts to take off higher than usual over my house  .......................now again its all calm!

Well, it's cooled down somewhat here in Manila. Rainy season is coming soon, and it showered yesterday. It's kinda weird here. Either you're dying of heatstroke or drowing in the floods, depending on the season.

^El Nino is still very much prevalent. It's not anywhere near gone yet. Bu it is expected to weaken later this summer (around August-September) and continue weakening, finally becoming ENSO-neutral and then start transitioning to a La Nina. Which doesn't bode so well for us rain-wise. :/

Anyway, for now enjoying the rains, just had a squall line come hrough early this morning at 1:00 or so. Got about an inch. Don't have to water the plants!
