YS Throttle Quadrant

Post by Gunny »

Getting this built for my 65th birthday.Built and optimized for Ysflight. And no it did not cost me my gonads to buy it.
The basic was $79.00 and after all the bells and whistles $160 +- and free that's right free shipping in the continental U.S..
Been looking for something to replace my crappy Saitek for a while now but everything I looked at was $500.00- $1,500.00.Than I ran across this guy in my search http://www.fsxthrottle.com/ each one is individually custom hand built. The most expensive basic model is like $199.00.If i sound exited I am. A guy willing to custom build for Ys at those prices is no small thing for us.

^That's way cool Gunny! Too bad you can't control the engines individually though in YSFS yet.

Multiple engines with individual statistics and ability to control them separately would be a big step up in the "simulation" department.

We already have separated smoke. That's a step in that direction.
I advertise stuff and ask people questions. What else can I say?

On its way.I decided not to paint over the woodwork.Classic twin beech baron 58p.Plug and play and ready to go.Beats hell out of Saitek don't you think? And a 1/4 of the price of Goflight or any of the other stuff on the sim market.
Twin throttles
Flaps
Spoiler/Air brakes or Prop RPM
Gear knob
trim wheel
Light control switches
All that is missing is fuel mixture which we do not have in Ysflight. But if at some time in the future we do than he will upgrade. At additional cost of course.
