Re: Weather in your area 2017
Forecast calls for anywhere in the range of 3-5 inches of rain over a good portion of the state, with locally higher amounts. This is not necessarily a bad thing since many locations that are going to get rain are still in moderate drought but much of the ground is still wet from previous rains, and this system has a lot of moisture available for it. Much of the drought should be gone after this system passes through. Tomorrow though, there is also a chance for severe weather (surprise surprise), mainly in E and SE OK with hail and high winds being the main hazards.

Re: Weather in your area 2017
We are expecting storms overnight after 12:00a.m. so I'm sure I'll get another early wake-up call. Not expecting anything as severe as what western OK got but hail and wind are still concerns.

All the ingredients are in place for a classic, southern/central plains tornado outbreak, especially if multiple supercells remain discrete long enough. Not to mention baseball to softball sized hail with the most intense supercells. Right now, 77F with a soupy dewpoint of 67F.

Re: Weather in your area 2017
Graduation here was in the school gym, and they finally installed some decent air conditioners a few years ago, so it was actually comfortable.
That's pretty close to the weather here according to this.
It's supposed to rain/storm this weekend with the highs staying in the 70s.

Re: Weather in your area 2017
I wouldn't exactly say the threat of tornadoes and tennis ball size hail is "lucky"... just saying. But I do get your point.
At least after today's round of severe weather, we do finally get lucky, with temps in the low-mid 70s and pleasant weather for the weekend.
